The sun shown brightly in the sky
All the forest was quite
Except for the birds that quickly flew by
And a bush when the squirrels ran by it
Then one dark and stormy night
A spotted fawn was born
There was a little crack of light
In the cave, where they waited out the storm
The fawn was very shy and small
Who had bright white dots on its fur
When finally he could stand up tall
He could walk and stand steadily and sure
The forest awaited this newborn fawn
And welcomed it gratefully, at the first light of dawn
